Food Prep  

Food assistants, or food prep cooks, assist the company's chefs and other kitchen staff by preparing the ingredients used to create all dishes, including entrees, sauces, and side dishes. Primary job duties include but are not limited to:

- Chopping vegetables, herbs, and other ingredients

- Trimming and slicing meats

- Stirring sauces and soups

- Portioning and wrapping food

- Creating plates, such as salads

- Cleaning utensils and kitchen surfaces

- Storing foods in designated containers and storage areas  

* Participants in this position will be using cleaning chemicals.

* Participants in this position should be physically capable of standing for long periods of time, because they will likely remain standing for their entire shift.
