*งานนี้น้องๆจะไม่สามารถเลือกสาขาได้ ทางนายจ้างจะลงสาขาให้น้องๆ หลังจากผ่านสัมภาษณ์กับนายจ้างแล้วจ๊ะ

As a seasonal supermarket associate, you will be assigned one of the following single job class positions:

 

CASHIER:

Main function – A Cashier is responsible for operating a register, receiving proper payment and

ensuring the customer leaving the checkout aisle is satisfied. In addition to the shared basic

responsibilities of all Publix associates, a Cashier’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the

following: assisting customers and delivering premier customer service, weighing and scanning

customer product, accepting payment and counting back change, handling cash and other tenders

accurately, bagging groceries as needed, keeping the register area neat & clean, and assisting in other

 

FRONT SERVICE CLERK:

A Front Service Clerk is responsible for ensuring the sale is complete by bagging groceries, providing

carry-out service and assuring that the customer leaving the parking lot is satisfied. In addition to the

shared basic responsibilities of all Publix associates, a Front Service Clerk’s responsibilities include,

but are not limited to the following: assisting customers and delivering premier customer service,

assisting with unloading groceries from their carts at the register, bagging groceries, carrying groceries out for customers and unloading them into customer’s vehicle, assisting customers in locating product throughout the store, restocking the bags, retrieving shopping carts from the parking lot, assisting in cleaning duties, and other duties as assigned.

 

GROCERY CLERK:

A Grocery Clerk is responsible for stocking his or her assigned section and ensuring quality

presentation of product. In addition to the shared basic responsibilities of all Publix associates, a

Grocery Clerk’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: ensuring product is rotated,within date, and properly displayed on shelves, unloading product from truck and organizing stock room, filling assigned sections as needed, assisting customers & delivering premier customer service, assisting Grocery Replenishment Specialist in maintenance of shelf set, cleaning cases and shelves, mopping and sweeping the sales floor and stock room, and/or dairy coolers, and assisting in other duties as assigned.

 

DELI CLERK:

A Deli Clerk is responsible for assisting in the daily operation of a quality Deli department, ensuring

proper presentation and freshness of product. This includes being responsible for selling product and

offering consistent high quality customer service. In addition to the shared basic responsibilities of all

Publix associates, a Deli Clerk’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: selecting

and packaging product as customer requests, assisting customers & delivering premier customer

service, dynamically selling product by describing products & services to customers, discussing product needs, and responding to customer questions and providing them with information, maintaining filling, and rotating product and displays properly, maintaining Publix’s high standards for product freshness and sanitation, preparing Deli special orders and party trays, possibly operating cash register, oven, fryer, microwave, and scale, and assisting with other duties as needed.

 

BAKERY CLERK:

Our Bakery Clerks are devoted to ensuring proper presentation and freshness of our bakery products. They also are responsible for selling products while offering consistent high quality customer service. In addition to the shared basic responsibilities of all Publix associates, a Bakery Clerk’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: providing premier customer service, including greeting them and responding to questions, dynamically selling products by providing needed information, taking and filling special orders, finishing products such as filling or icing doughnuts or pastries, packaging, labeling and pricing products for self-service, maintaining and filling bakery trays, display cases and ingredient bins, operating the scale, unloading organizing and restocking supplies, following sanitation and safety guidelines, assisting in cleaning duties, and assisting in other duties as assigned.

 

MEAT CLERK:

Our meat Clerks are devoted to ensuring proper presentation of our meat, along with providing a smile and assistance to customers who visit the Meat department. In addition to the shared basic

responsibilities of all Publix associates, a Meat Clerk’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: providing premier customer service, including greeting them and responding to questions, ordering the proper amount of product for lunch meat and cheese cases, filling lunch meat and cheese cases, rotating product within date and properly displaying it in refrigerated cases, dynamically selling product by providing needed information, verifying ad prices, hanging current sale sign and removing out-of-date sale signs, performing routine price changes on lunch meat and cheese products, cleaning section, and sweeping, and mopping sales area and stock room, setting up displays, fulfilling sanitation and safety guidelines, and assisting in other duties as assigned.

 

PRODUCE CLERK:

Our Produce Clerks are devoted to ensuring proper presentation of our produce along with providing a smile and assistance to customers who visit the Produce department. In addition to the shared basic responsibilities of all Publix associates, a Produce Clerk’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: providing premier customer service, including greeting them and responding to questions, filling and rotating produce cases and dry tables, unloading product from trucks, dynamically selling product by providing needed information, breaking down pallets, separating produce for sales floor, cooler and/or back room prep area, processing and/or wrapping produce items prior to filling cases and dry tables, verifying ads, hanging current sale signs, and removing out-of-date sales signs, performing routine price changes on products, processing “Value Added Items” for Produce Specialty section, and assisting in other duties, as assigned.

 

SEAFOOD CLERK:

Seafood Clerks must be a master of quality and attention to detail, as well as cheerful face to customers who visit our Seafood department. In addition to the shared basic responsibilities of all Publix associates, a Produce Clerk’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: providing premier customer service, including greeting them and responding to questions, cutting and preparing seafood for sale, dynamically selling product by providing needed information, assisting in ordering the proper amount of product for the Seafood department, maintaining, filling and rotating product and displaying it properly, maintaining Publix’s high standards for product freshness and sanitation, selecting and wrapping product at customer’s request, operating scale, cleaning sales and cutting areas, assisting in the set-up of demonstrations, and assisting in other duties as assigned.

*หมายเหตุ สิ่งที่น้องจะต้องทราบเกี่ยวกับงานนี้:  

1. งานนี้เป็น Supermarket จะมีหลายตำแหน่ง เช่น แคชเชียร์, จัดของ, ทำอาหาร Deli, หรืออาจมีเข็นรถเข็นอยู่ด้านนอกร้าน หรืออาจจะมีตำแหน่งอื่นๆ ซึ่งนายจ้างจะเป็นคนเลือกให้น้องๆ  

2. สาขาของงานนี้อาจมีเพิ่มเติม ถ้ามีสาขาอื่นๆมา น้องจะทราบในวันสัมภาษณ์กับทางนายจ้างจ๊ะ

3. น้องจะต้องฝึกภาษาอังกฤษของตนเองให้มากๆ การสัมภาษณ์ผ่านหรือไม่นั้นขึ้นอยู่กับทางนายจ้างตัดสิน ถ้าน้องสัมภาษณ์ไม่ผ่านงานนี้ น้องจะต้องเลือกงานใหม่หลังจากทราบผลว่าไม่ผ่านจ๊ะ

4. น้องที่เลือกงานนี้ บางสาขาจะต้องปั่นจักรยานไปทำงานด้วยตนเอง ระยะทางประมาณ 15 - 30 นาที ขึ้นอยู่กับที่พักที่น้องได้จ๊ะ
