Ride Operator :

Holiday World is looking for friendly people who want to talk with our guests and make their day special. The ride operators will work in a section that fits their personality such as working with small children, teenagers or families. The positions need people who are cautious, responsible, alert, and attentive and who uses good judgement. This person will help guests enter and exit the rides. They will ensure that seat belts are used to ensure the guests safety. This position gives participants a chance to learn about the guests'day at the park.

The employer will train participants on all aspects of the job and will work with employees until they feel comfortable in the tasks. This job is critical in making our guests enjoy their time at the park.

Food Service Worker :

Holiday World has lots of opportunities in the foods department. The kitchen is the best place to get to talk with co workers and build the strong teams. Kitchens prepare the food that our guests eat. We have kitchens that prepare food for buffet type restaurants and fast food service that goes directly to the Guest. If participants are not interested in the Kitchen, we also have spots in our catering department and buffet lines where participants have time to talk with employees and guests while serving the food to them. We will train participants to know all about the job and food safety.

Holiday World will train each participant to know all about the job and food safety.

*This role will require long periods of time standing and may involve handling or cooking pork products.

Lifeguard :

Participants in this job watches people in the water and assists when someone needs help. Park staff will make sure that each employee is an expert! This position gives employees plenty of time to interact with employees and guests.

Participants in this role need to know how to swim, but they do not need to be expert swimmers. If the participant can swim (do not have to be an expert), the employer is willing to train. Most of the pool water is less than 4 feet deep.

Holiday World will train participants on the important skills of CPR and water rescue certifications. This position has weekly training sessions to keep all employees and guests comfortable in the job.
