Housekeeper:
Sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors, vacuum,clean carpets, rugs and draperies, dust and polish furniture and fittings, clean metal fixtures and fittings,empty and clean trash containers, dispose of trash in a sanitary manner, clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers, wipe down glass surfaces, make up beds and change linens as required, tidy up rooms, wash windows as scheduled, clean corridors, lobbies stairways, elevators and lounges as well as guest rooms, organize work schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departures, replace dirty linens with clean items, inspect and turn mattresses regularly, store all dirty laundry in line with company policy, monitor guest laundry bags, realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout, respond to guest queries and requests, deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms, organize and restock cart at the end of the shift, follow all company safety and security procedures, report any maintenance issues or safety issues, respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses.
Food Service:
Maintaining, setting up, food production and quality control of all food items prepared in any of the kitchens. Prepares all food items according to Hilton standards and as specified on guest check to meet or exceed their expectations. Complete prep work any other assigned duties, including daily maintenance of coolers and work areas, as well as properly storing and rotating product. Reads and employs math skills to follow recipes. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times. Service of food and/or beverage according to the banquet event order. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction. Greet the guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Explain food items on event order and understand potential food allergies to provide alternative options to guests. Assist in the setup and service of food and/or beverages. Assist in cleaning and resetting of banquet rooms and ensure the readiness of the room for the following function. Assist in the cleaning of all service areas to ensure a safe working environment. Set up and clear tables, stock service stations & assist servers with table service for guest satisfaction. Clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting promptly & reset all service ware as prescribed. Maintain stock & cleanliness of stations. Serve guests with beverages & replenish as necessary. Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills, or special guest requests, to ensure guest satisfaction.
